Herbed Corn On The Cob

 
Herbed Corn On The Cob

4 Ears Fresh or Frozen Corn
3 Quarts Water
1 Cup Milk
1 Tablespoon Sugar
3 Tablespoons Butter or Margarine, softened
1/8 teaspoon Thyme, Crushed
1/8 teaspoon Rosemary, crushed
1/8 teaspoon Salt
dash of Pepper
 
Prepare fresh corn or use frozen. In a large sauce pan, bring water, milk and sugar to a boil. Add corn, cover and cook 6 to 8 minutes. Mean while, in a small bowl, beat butter unti smooth. Stir in crushed Thyme, Rosemary, Salt and Pepper. Remove corn from water, serve with butter.
