Quick Cobbler

Quick Cobbler
I have had this cobbler since I was a young kid. Mom got the recipes out of a womans magazine, McCall's I think.

Quick Cobbler

1 cup sugar
1 cupp Flour
1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
3/4 Cup Milk
1/4 stick Butter

Mix together and line bottom of a baking pan. Add desired pie mix or canned frut, drianed, Reserved. To the juics add 1 Cup sugar and pour over the top. Dot with butter, aprox 3 tablespoons worth. Bake at 350° until crust rises to the top and is browned.

I have had this with apple, cherry, peach, pear, apircot and mixed fruit... all yummy. exp if you put a scoop of Ice Cream on top.
