Weather

Todays weather is in the upper 50's and clear... sure beats what the norther part of our nation is getting. I read where Alaska is breaking records this year with the amount of cold. Some of which is headed this way, which means our lows in the lower 20's and highs for the day in the low to mid 40. Yeah... I'll take it.

A cold snap that has been plaguing us in the Interior of Alaska for the past 16 days finally broke yesterday. The temperature at my house went from -22 to +5 in about two hours. For two weeks the temperature at the airport never climbed above forty-below.

Of course, it warmed up just in time for me to return to my place of employment.

Enjoy the warmer weather while you can - there is more winter to come.
