Basque Halibut Stew

1 pound Halibut, cut up
1 1/2 cups tomatoes, diced
1 1/2 cups onion, chopped
1/4 cup Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Garlic, minced
Pepper to taste
 1 1/2 cups tomatoes, diced
1 1/2 cups onion, chopped
1/4 cup Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Garlic, minced
Pepper to taste
Saute Onion and Garlic in Olive Oil for 3 minutes. Add  halibut, cover and simmer 25 minutes. Add Tomatoes, cover ans simmer until  Halibut flakes. Servew ith rice or potatoes
